Eldar Abdrazakov – General Director

Since 1995 Eldar has worked in Kazkommertsbank.  From 2000 he is the Managing Director of OJSC "Kazkommertsbank" responsible for international operations and investment banking.  In 2002 he has become the General Director of OJSC “Kazkommerts Securities”.  Eldar holds Master’s Degree in International Economic Relations from the International Kazakhstani-Turkish University.  He is a fluent Kazakh, Russian, and English speaker.

 

Igor Churbanov – Managing Director

Starting from 1995 Igor has worked in Kazkommertsbank on various positions related to bank operations at the securities and capital markets.  Since 2001 Igor is Director of the Investment Banking Department of Kazkommertsbank.  Over the last years he is regularly elected as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Central Depository of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Igor has graduated from the Tomsk Polytechnic University and the Moscow Academy of Innovations Management.  He speaks Russian and English

 

Beibit Turysbekov – Financial Director

Beibit started his career at Accounting Department of the National Bank of the Republic Kazakhstan, where he participated in implementing international accounting standards for the Kazakh commercial banks.  Then for five years he worked at Kazkommertsbank being in charge of introducing the international accounting standards, drafting and monitoring a proper accounting documentation.  He also actively participated in introducing and adapting international accounting system Equation bank-wide.  Afterwards Beibit was Director of the Accounting Department of Nauryzbank Kazakhstan.  In 2003 he has become Kazkommerts Securities’ Financial Director.  Beibit has graduated from the Kazakh State Academy of Management, majoring in management.  He is a Kazakh, Russian, and English speaker

 

Yerlan Balgarin  – Director of Structured Finance Department

Since 2000 Yerlan Balgarin has worked in the Department of Investment Banking of Kazkommertsbank. From 1998 to 2000 Yerlan was with “Deloitte & Touche, Almaty” as tax consultant.  From the beginning of 2002, Yerlan is Head of Corporate Finance Division of Investment Banking Department.  In July 2002 he becomes Director of Structured Finance Department of Kazkommerts Securities.  Yerlan has successfully graduated from the Kazakh State Law University specializing in international law.  He speaks Kazakh, Russian and English

Yerlan Burabaev – Director of  Trading and Investment Department

Yerlan Burabaev has joined the Company in March 2003.  Before that he was Head of the Department of Dealing Operations of the National Bank of the Republic Kazakhstan.  Along with his colleges, he managed foreign exchange assets of the National Bank and the National Fund of the Republic of Kazakhstan.  He also actively traded at the domestic capital markets in accordance with NBK monetary policy objectives.  Yerlan graduated from the Kazakh State Architecture and Building Academy majoring in economics and management, and the Russian Finance-Economy Institute (Moscow) specializing in banks and banking.

 

Nadir Burnashev – Chief Economist

Nadir joined Kazkommerts Securities in November 2002.  Before that he worked for the Association of Financial Institutions of Kazakhstan. From 1998 to 2001 Nadir was the Kazakhstan representative to the IMF and World Bank, and member of Executive Boards of two institutions.  He has also worked as Advisor to Chairman of the State Investment Committee (Goskominvest), Advisor to Governor of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Head of the Financial Markets Division of National Bank.  Nadir graduated with distinction from the Department of Physics of the Kazakh State University.  He also holds MA (Economics) from Central European University (Prague-Budapest), and Fellow in Foreign Service professional certificate from Edmund Walsh School of Foreign Service of the Georgetown University (Washington, DC).  He is a fluent Russian and English speaker.

 

Askar Dostiyarov – Director of Corporate Finance Department

Askar Dostiyarov has joined OJSC “Kazkommerts Securities” in 2001 after working for “Deloitte & Touche, Almaty”.  He started his career in the Washington branch of the US investment bank Morgan Stanley.  After coming back to Almaty Askar joined the consulting company The Rice Group where he received a good experience in consulting.  Askar holds MBA (summa cum laude) from George Washington University (Washington, DC).  He also graduated with distinction from the Kazakh State University in international economic relations.  Askar is a fluent Kazakh, Russian and English speaker.

 

Marat Khaidarov – Director of Project Finance Department

Marat joined Kazkommerts Securities in June 2002 coming from Kazkommertsbank where he headed the Project Finance Division. In 1998 after graduating from the Kazakh Institute of Management, Economics and Strategic Research (KIMEP), Marat started his career at HSBC Bank Kazakhstan, a 100% subsidiary of HSBC Group. In 2000 he was invited to join Risk Management Department at Kazkommertsbank, where he worked as credit analyst in oil and gas and mining sectors. Marat holds MA in Economics from KIMEP, and continues his professional education on the CFA program. He speaks Kazakh, Russian and English.

Bolat Satubaldin – Director of Direct Investment Department

Bolat Satubaldin has come to OJSC “Kazkommerts Securities” in August 2002. In 1995-2000 he was responsible for trade and project finance operations of OJSC "Kazkommertsbank" and Bank Société Générale Kazakhstan.  In 2000-2002 Bolat headed Risk Management Division, and then Project Finance Division of Kazkommertsbank.  Before joining Kazkommerts Securities, Bolat worked as Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of the Moscow-based “Interregional Bank of Development of Business”, later renamed to Moskommertsbank.  He graduated from the Institute of Market at the Kazakh State Academy of Management, and Kazakh State National University.  Bolat speaks Kazakh, Russian and English.

 

Aida Turlubekova – Head of Back Office 

Aida has been working in OJSC “Kazkommerts Securities” since the date of establishment in November 1997.  She came to the Company along with a team of her colleges of Global Kazkommerts Securities, where she worked as financial analyst from June 1996.  Aida has a wide experience in the securities and capital markets of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and she participated in all trading operations of the company.  Aida has graduated with honors from the Kazakh State Academy of Management, department of International Economics relations, majoring in foreign trade activities.

 

Yelena Belozyorova – Legal Division

Yelena is an in-house Attorney of Kazkommerts Securities.  She is also  Arbitrator of the International Arbitration Court, Kazakhstan.  Before joining the Company in September 2002 she worked as Senior Attorney for the Accumulative Pension Fund of Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan.  For almost two years Yelena has been counseling the Turkish bank “Kazakhsan-Ziraat International Bank”.  Yelena graduated with honors from the Kazakh State Legal University, majors International Law.  She is a fluent English and Russian speaker. 

 

Talant Kaliyeva – Director of Financial Control Department 

Talant Kalieva has joined the team of Kazkommerts Securities in July of 2002. She has worked in audit department of “Deloitte&Touche” from 1994 to 1999. Talant has performed audits in conformity with domestic and international standards, provided consultations on accounting, taxation and financial management to clients in a number of banks, financial institutions, companies in various industries, such as oil and gas, power, food-processing and others in Kazakhstan, Russia, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. Talant’s wide working experience includes financial management of an oil company “FIOC” and the supervision of the Business Valuation department activity of “The Rice Group, Central Asia” in a valuation team formed by Senior Member of the American Society of Appraisers.  Talant Kaliyeva is a member of the Chamber of Auditors of the Republic of Kazakhstan and has a license of a qualified auditor. She has the University Degree in Applied Mathematics and MBA in International Business.  She is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
